Hello Summer! Finally! Well, everyone's excited except for me bc now I have to pay for summer camps, and a babysitter and extra food.....but the good news is.....we can enjoy our evening without all of the homework!

Albany Basketball Camp 2011! Wyatt absolutely loves it! It's very hot, but he loves it! This was his third year to attend! Mrs. Stacy Darouse does an excellent job! What a great way to raise money for her team!

Bring on the Award! LPR Awards! They did so good! Took 1st at the ABC Tournament and 2nd at State and 3rd at World! So proud of them!

Even the not so memorable moments are worth posting! Great Shot Susan! Don't tell Wyatt I posted this! He had a great hit and he ran his heart out to first base and he's upset bc he says he was safe....in fact he says he knows he was safe! Third game of the day in 100 degree heat will do that to you!
Before we leave the LPR portion of the blog! We have to give a big round of applause to Miss LuLu....she didn't miss a game....and she didn't ever care what she looked liked! That's what you call a good fan!
Bring on NKOTB!
And the best part of June was NKOTB! Oh MY WoW.....I had the best time...Loved it. I'm hooked again.....I'll be going to every concert that I can in the south part of the USA! It was so awesome to see all 5000 people dressed in their best NKOTB wear! Michelle had buttons for all of us and Keri made us shirts....we rocked it as best we could for a bunch of 30 year olds......well minus LeAnn...she's still a 20 something year old!
The lovely Jordan Sparks was there.....She did okay...we were all too anxious for our fellas to enjoy it!!
The last weekend in June was crazy.....we didn't have a baseball tournament......Did we stay home to relax....NO INDEED! ......I went to the NKOTB and the very next day we drove to Brewton Alabama to buy ourselves a 1979 Airstream......it's an Excella. ....not that that means anything in 2012....other than it has a blue stripe down the middle! But, back in the day...this thing was the bomb! Derek still thinks it is!
Retrofabulous at it's finest! Derek had been tirelessly looking online....the good ones would go in a matter of a day or 2. This posting showed up with no pictures. Derek called Mr. Wayne and he said he had no idea how to upload any kind of pics and his son was out of town. He talked to Derek for about an hour and you could tell this thing was his baby...he was the 2nd owner, he had had it for about 17 years. So, we went on a hunch, a hope and a prayer all the way to Brewton Alabama! We drove up and there she was........We knock on the door.....Hi Mr. Wayne we're here to see the airstream! Come on in.....have a seat....and then we sat through a 30 minute interview before they even let us look at it....Why do we want a camper, how long do we plan on having a camper...What are you going to do with the camper.....how many kids do you have.....let me get you something to drink....a full blown interview! This was their baby and they wanted it to keep being babyed! Derek looked it over with a fine tooth comb....and he was plum giddy bc it was in excellent shape.....he says Delana...it's all original.......oh yipee...if you love the 70's! We agreed upon a price and Mr. Wayne says well the bank is closed can ya'll come back tomorrow....Derek says no sir....he pulled out a sock full of 100 dollar bills....we're ready right now! And, so we drove home with our brand new 1979 airstream! Mr. Wayne was more than generous..he gave us a ton of stuff for the camper, and he called to check on us like 20 times within the first month of owning the camper! We walked away with a new friend! We sent them a Christmas Card.....I can put this story right here bc I'm only like 9 months behind with my postings. He called Derek to tell him they got the card and they just loved it, and before he hung up....he said...we love ya'll! Like I said...we have new friends in Brewton, Alabama!
The kids were plum excited! They wanted to have a camper party the very next day...I said well what is a camper party....Wyatt says you just hang out in the camper all day and spend the night in it! Madelyn says why is it called an airstream....Is it because it has air or it needs air! I love that girl!
We're still trying to come up with the perfect name for the airstream.....tossing up ...sweet ride, hot ride or aluminous!
